Is Islam Allows an Equal Learning Opportunities for Men & Women?

Equal Learning Opportunities

The fact of education can’t be denied in the electronic world. Every nation emphasizes and focuses on educating their inhabitants for the bright future. Without education, a nation can’t survive nowadays because everything is going to digital. It’s our duty to struggle towards education and learning if we want to see our nation be successful.

Islam, the religion of peace also emphasizes the Muslims to learn and get the knowledge. Most of the non-believers think that Islam doesn’t give a chance to women to learn something but, this concept is wrong and rumor.

Islam gives the equal opportunity for both men and women to learn and explore the world. The non-believers can see that how the Muslims men and women perform the Hajj and Umrah with Deluxe Umrah Packages All Inclusive, they show the equality in Islam. According to Hadith, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said that,

“Gaining of knowledge is compulsory on all Muslims (both men and women deprived of any discrimination).” (Ibn Maja)

Knowledge in the Light of Quran and Hadiths

As you remember that the first Ayah that was revealed upon the Holy Prophet (PBUH) shows that teaching or knowledge is important for everyone. Now, we can’t raise the question and objection about Islam that it doesn’t give the opportunity. According to Quranic Verse,

“Declare! (or Recite!) in the name of thy Allah and Cherisher, Who shaped – Shaped humans, out of a (meager) clot of congealed blood, Decree! And thy Allah is Most Generous – He Who taught (the use of) the Pen – Taught a man that which he knew not.” (Holy Quran 96:1-5)

Gaining the knowledge isn’t optional for Muslims. In fact, its compulsory for them and no excuse will be entertained. Knowledge is a domineering factor for Muslims and there is no discrimination about it.

Even women also can get the knowledge. This shows the equality and fairness. In the era of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), Hazrat Ayesha (R.A) was taught the women. The Holy Prophet Said that,
“You are always enclosed by men for conveying knowledge so appoint a day for us.” (Bukhari)
So, get the knowledge and explore the universe with your sense. Show the West, how talented we are and we can change the world. Teach your kids about worldly and Islamic knowledge.
